| I remember all the time we spent on the bridge. We had alot of good times. Time sure does fly. hell it's been over forty years. The reason I've been trying to locate former crew members is because I have stage 4 cancer of the bone which probably started in the lung. They can't find the primary source. I know when we were recommissioning the Liddle that we were exposed to asbestos. And I'm trying to find out the health condition of the other guys that I worked with. Being that since my only source of health care is through the VA it is hard to get any of the doctors there is say it could be related. But I'll just file my claim anyway. I just hope the doctors are wrong and I live longer than they say I will and will be able to collect on it. I do think the doctors are wrong and that I'm not as sick as they say I am. I just retired for good in October 2004 and 3 months later I'm told I have cancer. I retired from Roadway Express in l994 out of Sacramento Ca than I moved to Beaverton Oregon till 200l when we moved to Reno Nevada. Now we live in Vancouver Washington.
