Major highlights of your life after the Liddle:
After my brief, four-year career in the Navy (unfortunately, not long enough to qualify for any retirement benefits), I worked in customer service, training, and internal management consulting for the local arm of the old Bell System - later what became Bell Atlantic. I retired from Bell Atlantic, after twenty-seven years, and then did a short stint with a small consulting firm. Next, until my most-recent retirement in 2000, I worked ten years as a Performance Management Analyst for Baltimore Gas and Electric at their Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. Currently, I have an appointment as Adjunct Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Business and Management, University of Maryland University College, where I instruct management and leadership courses, largely in the MBA program.
I spent most of my early, non-working life going to school. I obtained a BS in engineering from the Naval Academy, an MS in financial management from George Washington University, an MBA in management from Loyola College of Maryland, and a doctorate in education, also from George Washington. Although I specialize in organization development, with this educational background, I am dangerous in several fields.
My bride, Teddy, and I presently live in Eastport - a part of Annapolis, Maryland. Previously, we lived in the Baltimore area for some thirty years. We have two adult children and seven grandchildren.
Being somewhat older than most, we have our share of bodily failures - Teddy is a recovering cancer patient and I have some minor heart problems.
