Carl Mathews YN2, Captains Yeoman Sept 63 to Oct 64, Made deployment to Gtmo for refresher training and later to Canal Zone for the uprising. Richard Berdeski was my engineering yeoman. Later saw Phil at Great Lakes after he made Warrant and was attending instructor training. I made Chief shortly after that and was transferred to the Naval Reserve Center in Omaha where I stayed for 5 years and retired. In civilian life I became a cabinet maker and for eleven years taught at the local vocational school. I love my Navy Career and have great memories of all my shipmates.
