My name is William G. Edwards, Jr. I joined the Liddle during Pre-commissioning in 1961, as an RD3, transferred from the USS Fremont APA-44.

I left Active Duty in February, 1963, and affiliated with the Naval Reserve 2 years later, in 1965. I Retired from the Naval Reserve as Command Senior Chief,(OSCS), Inshore, Undersea Warfare Unit 210, in Baltimore, Maryland.

I cherish the Memories of my time spent onboard the Liddle, an was happy to find your Web Site.
