I left the ship in April of 1963 for humanitarian shore duty. I was sent to Pittsfield NRTC. Got off active duty on December 16, 1963 and went to work for UPS April 6, 1964. Drove both delivery van a tractor trailer until I retired on December 30, 1994.

Been enjoying my time hunting in British Colombia, Quebec, Kansas, Colorado, as well as Vermont and Massachusetts.

I have three children and five grandchildren.

At present my time is taken up building a log cabin on some property I own in up-state New York.
